Stressed Cinephile

I think it’s important you get to know me as a person! I am a soon-to-be senior based in Maine, who has dreams of becoming a famous director or screenwriter (shocking, I know). I love all things film, and though I like to think I’m a somewhat sophisticated enjoyer of the medium, I do find myself loving the stupidest things…

The first time I really got into movies was in middle school, when a teacher of mine recommended I watch the 1962 Manchurian Candidate adaptation. From there, I really got into old movies. Though my love for old cinema eventually evolved into a broader love of such, I still have a soft spot for classic movies. I am a huge fan of Fredrich March and Bill Bixby, two lesser-known actors who I wish more people loved! (Do yourself a favor and watch The Best Years of Our Lives starring the former, it’s amazing!)

I’m starting this blog to talk about my favorite thing ( I bet you can guess what it is), and spread my love of both writing and film to others who feel the same way I do! I love sharing my thoughts with others, and I think there’s no better place than the internet to do so. Thanks again for reading!
